The Annual Ball.
All Society Members are invited to the Ball including Patrons, lifetime members and those people who have taken part in expeditions in the preceeding year. After dinner our patrons present certificates to those members who have taken part in that years expeditions, as a permenant reminder of their individual achievement in completing their respective ventures.
Other less formal social events take place throughout the year fitting in around expeditions, selection and training weekends.

XMAS Ball 2008:
Each Christmas, just before New Year the Society holds a
formal Ball, which allows expedtioners both old and new to meet in slightly more glamorous
attire and surroundings than normal, (bearing in mind that most members meet
underground in a cave, or half way up a cold Welsh rock face!). It is a great way for
members to keep in touch with one another and to reminisce about previous ventures and
indeed discuss ideas for new challenges.
