The site has information concerning forthcoming expeditions, a record of past achievements, the UK programme, the young leaders programme, social activities, contact information and application forms for forthcoming adventures. The Dorset Expeditionary Society Ltd, (DES), is a registered charity founded to encourage safe and adventurous opportunities for young people. This website explains the function of the Society together with descriptions of various ventures that it has been involved with.
